Friday Moments

Friday moments with SouleMama as usual around here.

If you have a moment or two to share, please leave a comment with a link. Thank you to everyone who comments or leaves links here - I really appreciate it.

This week we spent lots of time basking in the glorious-oh-so-glorious spring sunshine.

"I sittin' wite he-ah. On da moss."

There were lots of open-mouth-baby-kisses.

Pucker up, Baby.

We had rainy-day arts-and-crafts in our new playroom...

Just ignore the painter's tape. I said "new" not "finished."

And there was baseball. Lots and lots of baseball.

Please note the carefully drawn home plate he's standing on.
Hubs is nothing if not exact.

Sure, there were hellacious coughing fits and lots of boogery-noses, but there were also a ton of sunshiny good moments.

What are you up to this weekend? Any big plans? How was your week? Do tell.

  1. The playroom looks so great! And who can resist open-mouth toddler kisses? I just try to let mine aim for the chin lol.

This weekend we have a double date with another couple, although we're bringing Maeve, so it's not a really real date. Also I have what I like to call my "Big People Book Club", which is my attempt to spend quality intellectual time with someone over 2' tall.

Have a good weekend, hope the nice weather holds for you!

  2. Oh, the playroom looks awesome! Sorry to hear there's illness around there yet again, but it looks like there is a whole lot of wonderful to help balance things out!

I'm still not sure what we're doing this weekend, but it can't be bad - it is the weekend after all!

  5. Oh, sunshine makes everything so much better, don't you think? It's hard to have a truly terrible day if you have the chance to spend it in the spring sun. I'm looking forward to a homey weekend, full of things like the farmer's market and getting my rhythm back. Here's my moment from the week - my dog totally fascinated by a documentary about (of course) dogs: http://lifeofalittlewoman.wordpress.com/2011/04/15/this-moment-24/
