I owe all credit for this post to Hubs.

On our porch, we have a bench, with storage beneath the seat.

On this bench, there is a crack.

Inside the storage compartment - you may find toys, yard equipment, or our freeloader.

Warning: extreme close-up.

No matter how many times Hubs evicts this odd little fellow, he always finds his way back into our bench.

At first we thought we were rescuing him from accidental entrapment within the bench, but clearly he just likes it in there.

Strange little dude.

Though, we're used to strange little dudes around here.

  1. you are right strange little dude..maybe he is the reincarnation of one of our strange relatives..he he..hope the rain not driving you and the boys up in n.h. again so watch out for the change in the air when he comes across the border he MOM

  2. He blends in so well, no wonder he feels safe in there.
Is he looking for a place to hibernate?

  3. Wow, that's some camouflage! Have the boys tried to catch it? My boys would have probably squished it by now! We've got a small water hole in our yard which has many amphibious residents, and the boys and I like to count the frogs. Owen fell in this morning :( Oi!!
