This week I'm only posting two photos. (Progress towards "this moment's" lofty standards, I do say), although sadly, that's not why I'm only posting two pictures.
This week, the children have been ... well... a bit needy. Clingy. Demanding. Going through some sort of teething, developmental milestone, pollen/sunshine overload. I don't really know. But something.
They have been out of sorts. So this has been my week.
I look down, and there he is. |
And the other one is never far away.
"Mumma? Muuuuuma? Mama! Uppa!" |
We're hanging in there, but this week has been a little bit more like survival than a lot of fun and laughs.
I hope this weekend is a good one for you, got any good plans?
Yup, nothing like preparing dinner one handed, making lunches one handed, (going to the bathroom!!) - I love you sweety...get off my hip!!!
ReplyDeletehope you get a little 'alone time' this weekend Melissa :-)

I love the title of your blog! When people ask me how I do it all I just say, "I don't! I'm exhausted, and luckily my kids haven't killed themselves today." Although it is hard being a Mom, I have to say I still wouldn't trade it. It is a cruel joke from the universe. Enjoy your weekend!

How tricky to do everything one-handed (or if you are tending two kids simultaneously then it is no-handed!)
ReplyDeleteHang in there! Have a great weekend!
Survival - it's what it's all about! And you are a survivor! We need to have a playdate soon...

Aww, it must be that age or something, because LB has suddenly becoming clingy and wants hugs all the time, too. It's cute, but exhausting, right? :)
ReplyDeleteCoby needs to pop that collar!
ReplyDeletebeen there on many occasions and even though it does seem endless, some day you are going to want these days back ..believe me you will miss those little faces when they become BIG BRUTISH TEENAGERS who hate their MOM..have a good weekend ..just love that derek is giving coby fashion lessons..could not ask for a better role model he is one COOL DUDE..
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. Can you believe I miss the clingy stages when she's in an independent stage? Hahah.
ReplyDeleteOh, I feel your pain! Hopefully they find their independence again next week!
