Apparently, this other kid wanted a truck, and the Big Boy claims that he gave it to him.
Oh, once again I wish desperately to be a mama bird, flapping around nearby so I could see what happened.

This boy is not exactly interested in other children.
Unlike his bro - who chats up every dang human he comes across, my Big Boy is content to amuse himself most of the time.
He hasn't yet figured out that other kids might add fun, rather than simply forcing him to share the toy he's attached to, or knocking over his meticulously built block tower.
He does better with older children, who abide by the rules of engagement, than his peers who, like him, are still learning how to get along. (Woah nelly that was a lot of commas)
Oh he has so much to learn, and my boy is not one for trial and error. He watches, analyzes and doesn't jump in until he has a good handle on things.
Unfortunately, I've been interacting with other humans for over thirty years and I still don't have a good handle on it. He's going to have to dive in eventually.
He might have put his toe in yesterday, who knows though - 3 years olds make stuff up, you know.
I hate not being able to do anything. I just have to sit back, watch, encourage, provide lots of opportunities, and wait.
Flapping around and peeping uselessly.
Peep, dangit. Peep. Peep.
Well, you can always hope! And all those commas were just right ;)
